Guidelines for poster presenters

There will be 2 poster sessions:

Tuesday 29th: 17-19 hrs (5-7 pm) & Wednesday 30th: 17-18 hrs (5-6 pm)

On-site posters

  • Printed posters must be in Portrait A0 format, i.e., 841 x 1189 mm ( 33.11 x 46.81 inches).
  • Double tape will be provided to fasten the posters to the walls.
  • Printed posters on fabric are not recommended as they do not hold well to the wall with double tape. Use of pins is not allowed.
  • Posters can be mounted starting lunch time on Tuesday 29th and must be removed on Wednesday 30th after 19 hrs. Remaining posters will be disposed of.

On-site presenters are encourged to upload their posters at the ePoster Gallery so that they are available for remote participants as well.

  • File format,  layout and maximum size: PDF,  Portrait ,  5 MB
  • The ePoster Gallery will be launched on Monday 28 August. All registered participants will receive their own, password protected account to login and interaction with poster presenters.
  • You will be able to submit an updated version of your poster after the ePoster Gallery has opened and until the start of the conference.
  • The ePoster Gallery will remain open until 22 September.

Virtual posters

  • Virtual posters will be displayed in the ePoster Gallery
  • Number of pages: one (1).
  • File format: PDF. All newer versions of PowerPoint and most other software applications allow you to save your poster as a PDF file using the menu “File > Save As” or the option “File > Print > as .PDF”.
  • Layout for virtual posters can be either portrait or landscape
  • File size: max 5 MB
  • Avoid animated effects, “animations” or videos.
  • For embedded images use .jpeg or .png formats in a resolution of 72 or 96 dpi.
